thinking to myself, ¨hey, I might be onto something here.¨ My mom was up and she got a spare.

My dad was next and he got a strike, as was expected. So after the first frame the score was 8, 9,

10, 10, 10. Me, my mom, and dad were all tied for first, second, and third.

By the end of the game I had a grand total of 224 points and my dad had 215 points.

Everyone else was in the high 100s. I felt so accomplished. Happiness rushed over me like a

huge titlewave. If there had actually been one, it would have crushed me. I had never beaten my

dad in a bowling game before. I don’t really know if he was trying or not that day, but either way,

I still felt amazing! To this day, everytime I think about it, I smile. Apart from the day my kids

were born and asking my wife to marry me, that was the happiest day of my entire life!
