Comment:

1. This cream produces a soothing and cooling effect when applied to the

skin. The cooling effect being produced by the slow evaporation of the

water content of the cream which takes its latent heat of evaporation from

the skin.

2. Type of emulsion:
    - On triturating borax solution with fat, its NaOH yield would react with
       the free fatty acids of olive oil (e.g. olic and linoleic). Soap produced
       form o/w emulsion.
    - On further interaction, NaOH reacts with the free fatty acids of
       beeswax. Theses forms of soap lead to the formation of w/o emulsion
       as the fatty chain prevail the sodium tail in their capacity.

3. It is important to heat aqueous phase to about the same temperature of the
   fat. If the aqueous liquid is added cold, it would cause rapid congealation
   of the high melting point fast of waxes and the product would be lumpy.
