                 6.  ENGINEERING SOLUTION: DEMONSTRATION SCOPE


                 From our understanding of civil rehabilitation best  practices  and  SANS  1200  standards,  we  would  propose the

                 following  approach  for  your  consideration.  We  recognise  that  your  team  may  have  specific  methodologies  and
                 quality standards, and we welcome the opportunity to align our approach accordingly.

                 6.1  ROAD REHABILITATION WORKS (6,000 m )

                 Proposed Scope Summary:


                 The rehabilitation would involve full-depth reconstruction incorporating:







                   • Site preparation and existing surface removal


                   • Subgrade remediation and unsuitable material replacement where encountered


                   • Imported engineered fill material (approved source with certifications)



                   • Geotextile separation layer for base reinforcement


                   • Mechanical compaction to 95% Modified AASHTO density


                   • Cement stabilisation (3-5%) for heavy traffic zones


                   • Quality testing and dimensional verification throughout
