PARTICULAR ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATION

1.12 TESTING & COMMISSIONING
The Electrical Contractor will set to work, test and commission all electrical services prior to
handover and/or prior to allowing others to make use of the electrical distribution for the
commissioning of other systems.
The Contractor will carry out testing in accordance with but not limited to the following:
• the IET Wiring Regulations
• BS 5266 Emergency Lighting
• BS 5839 Fire Alarms
The Electrical Contractor will provide electrical test certificates and records for the complete
electrical installation for inclusion in the Health & Safety File.
