1.9 MANAGERS OFFICE

1.9.1 In the Existing Location

Where the scope of the project excludes the managers’ office, the existing lighting and
power devices and cabling will be retained as installed where it is safe to do so.

Where the scope of the project includes the refurbishment of the managers’ office in the
existing location the Electrical Contractor will provide the following:

• New dado trunking
• New power sockets

• New voice & data sockets
• Fused connection units for:
 Safe
 Intruder alarm
 CO2 sensor
 Fire alarm panel

• Supplies for the IT cabinet
• A supply for a room cooling unit

Outlets and services will be as described by the Technical Specifications for Electrical
Installations Generally.

The existing fire alarm panel will be retained if compatible devices can be obtained.

1.9.1 In a New Location

Where the scope of the project includes a new managers’ office in a new location the
Electrical Contractor will provide services as described for the refurbished office, inclusive of
a new Fire Alarm panel.
