2.6 -Trash Bins, Ashtrays, Flower Boxes and Fences.
Objective:
These elements must serve their specific purpose in each case. They should be
conveniently distributed around the patio, in spots that do not disrupt customer
traffic.
Flower boxes may be used to delineate different areas in the patio, or to
block customers from accessing unpleasant or noisy areas, thus
contributing to the patio's atmosphere and comfort.
Fences delineate and protect the patio, stopping children from running out of it.
There is an option of installing a windscreen to protect the patio from harsh winds
and traffic noise.
Fence design should take into consideration that there are standard-length elements,
as well as non-standard ones, and that the fence should be built with the maximum
number of standard elements as possible, in order to lower installation costs.
