2.4 -Seater Benches
Objective:
Benches are located in the area surrounding the playground, offering parents the
opportunity to be close to their children while they play, without taking up
traditional tables with four chairs.
This original element, at a child’s height, allows them to forget about the
major prohibitions at home, such as seating astride to eat, or eating while seated
on top of the "table", which in this case is simply the horizontal surface of the bench.
The bench is attached to the ground and marks the limits of the protected area
surrounding the playground and with all its necessary safety features. As they are
attached to the ground, we avoid the risk of these benches being accidentally
moved outside of the safety zone designated for the playground.
Be careful not to place these benches directly in front of the playground’s wall panels
or too close to the partitions.
