2.1 Square tables with 4 Seats / Round tables 4 Seats

Objective:

These are the key elements of the outdoor dining area, providing the greater part of
the seating capacity. Each element’s geometry should be considered, in order to
maximise the available space, taking into account the traffic flow between
tables, while at the same time avoiding an excessively grid-like arrangement. This is
the main function of round tables: to break the geometric grid formed when
using square tables.

Round tables must be used with caution, in order to avoid a needless waste of space
that could reduce the seating capacity. Also, their placement should be carefully
planned; for instance, if they are placed too close to a wall or fence, part of the table
may become needlessly difficult to reach, or simply inaccessible.

Both tables have the option to add “sun-shades”.
