Founded in 1872 by Henry WD Dunlop
as the Irish Champion Athletic Club,
Lansdowne Football Club is one of the
oldest rugby clubs in Ireland as well
as one of the best-known wherever
the game of rugby football is played.
Steeped in the history of the game,
the Club’s home ground is Lansdowne
Road, the Irish international stadium,
which is also the oldest international
rugby ground in the world. With the
construction of the Aviva Stadium, the
Lansdowne FC clubhouse was rebuilt
to a state of the art standard with two
available spaces suitable for all your
event needs. The Zurich Room is a
fully functional conference space with
the adjoining Members Bar perfect for
your social gatherings. An additional
refurbishment took place in the Summer
of 2018 ensuring Lansdowne FC is a
venue is without rival.
