                             Community Person of the Year









              Mr. Earl Graham has over 15 years of experience in post-secondary recruitment and
              enrollment management. He became the Director of Admission at Housatonic Community College
              in 2014. Before becoming the Director, he served as the Assistant Director. He assisted the
              Admissions Office at the College in positioning itself to work directly with high school counselors,
              community organizations and leaders, business professionals, college administrators, and faculty.

              Before joining Housatonic Community College, Mr. Graham served as the Associate
              Director of Admission at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Mr. Graham has also
              held the Multicultural and Community Relations Coordinator position at Gateway Community
              College New Haven, Connecticut. He has also served as Director of Admission at the University of
              Bridgeport and Director of Continuing Education at St. Vincent College,

              Mr. Graham served as a panelist speaking at The College Board’s annual conference and the New
              England Association of College Admissions Counselor (NEACAC) conference.   Mr. Graham has
              served as a member and chaired several committees,  including the City of Bridgeport Gear-Up
              program, State of Connecticut Gear-up Program, Talent Search, Bridgeport Allocations Committee,
              100 Black Men, and many more.

              Finally, Mr. Graham’s professional development continued through various training seminars spon-
              sored by the New England Association of College Admissions Counselor (NEACAC), The College
              Board, The Hampton Experience, and the CAPFA association.


              Mr. Graham holds a BS in Business from Sacred Heart University and a MAT in Education.
