Baylee Dixon
Legacy Award

Baylee Dixon of Hamden, CT is a graduating senior at Hamden High School. Baylee has earned a
3.3 GPA and has maintained high honors throughout her high school academic career. Baylee is a
member of the Hamden High marching band and serves as a Section Leader. She is a member of
her school’s African/Puerto Rican Club and a member of the Amistad Leadership Academy.

Baylee is a member of the Delta Academy sponsored by the New Haven Alumnae Chapter of
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Baylee is deeply committed to her community and enjoys serving
those in need and giving back. Baylee is a lead vocalist in her church’s youth choir and proudly
serves as a National Youth Delegate of the Dixwell UCC Church.

Baylee has been accepted to Hampton University and Bowie State University and will major in
Fashion Design and Merchandising and minor in Business. Her school principal describes her as
an enthusiastic intellectual committed to her academic and leadership development.
