Jayden Lazaro
Jerome Lee Scholarship Recipient
Jayde Lazaro of Stratford, CT is a graduating senior at Stratford High School. Jayden has earned a
3.7 GPA and is a decorated scholar-athlete. Jayden is a 4-year member of his school’s Varsity Soc-
cer team and a member of both the indoor and outdoor track teams.
Jayden is a member of the National Honor Society and the Red Devils Engineering Club affiliated
with Sikorsky Aircraft. He participates in extracurricular activities that include the Stratford High
American Sign Language Club.
Jayden is an active member of the Cornerstone Christian Center Church and ministers to children
in the 3C Kid’s and Children’s Ministry and has even traveled to Trinidad to participate in youth-
centered mission work. Jayden received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for completing
100+ hour of community service in a single school year.
Jayden is described by his teachers as positive, intelligent with a rigorous presence. Jayden will
study Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology.
