Clyde Lyle


     High School: Lawrence (1925)                    College: Purdue (1929)                  Induction: 1969
     1.  Head Coach for the Rossville Hornets from 1929-32.
     2.  Basketball & baseball stand-out Lawrence H.S.
     3.  Played both sports at Purdue, winning the Big Ten Medal for scholarship/athletics
           in 1929.
     4.  Served as head basketball coach at Rossville, Rochester, & Hammond during his
           37-year coaching career.
                a.  Won 8 Sectional, 3 Regionals, & 1 Semi-Final title.
     5.  Spent 17 years as Physical Education & Athletic Director for Hammond City
           Schools
     6.  President of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association in 1942.




                                                Pat Malaska


     High School: Crawfordsville (1933)          College: Purdue (1938)         Induction: 1988
     1.  4-year Varsity lettermen @ Crawfordsville.  Also played football, earning All-State
           honors.
     2.  3-year starting Guard for Purdue, helping the Boilermakers win 2 Big Ten titles.
     3.  Played professional basketball w/ the Hammond Caesars.
     4.  Former head coach @ Pine Village.




                                            Arthur Masters


     High School: Thorntown (1919)             College: Purdue (1923)            Induction: 1992
     1.  Head Coach @ Lafayette (Jeff) from 1931-41.  Also serving as Head Football Coach
           & Athletic Director.
     2.  Assistant Basketball Coach @ Purdue, head coach @ Robinson (IL), & Kokomo.
     3.  As a player, led Thorntown to 1919 State Championship & later played @ Purdue.
     4.  His son Bob Masters led Lafayette Jeff to the 1948 State Championship & was named
           Mr. Basketball.

     High School: Lafayette Jeff (1948)             College: Indiana (1952)            Induction: 1991
     1.  Awarded Mr. Basketball in 1948, after leading the Lafayette Jeff Bronchos to the
           State Championship.
     2.  3-year starter & 2-time All-Big Ten, & All-American in 1952 @ Indiana University.
     3.  Selected in 1978 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for the
          “Silver Anniversary Award.”
