drafted by the Oakland Oaks of the ABA.
3. 39 years as a head coach (Indiana: Southern Wells, Bluffton, Benton Central, &
Jasper Florida: Kissimmee Osceola, Ft. St. Lucie, Ft. Pierce Westwood, &
Oviedo).
4. All-time coaching wins leader in the state of Florida w/ over 770 wins.
Duane Klueh
High School: Terre Haute State (1943) College: Indiana State (1949) Induction: 1988
1. Multiple sport athlete @ Terre Haute State H.S. & Indiana State.
2. Named to the All-American Team in 1948.
3. Spent 4 seasons as the Head Coach @ Fowler, winning 3 Sectionals.
4. 12-year career as Head Basketball Coach & 25 years as Head Tennis Coach @
Indiana State.
Ward Lambert
High School: Crawfordsville (1908) College: Wabash (1911) Induction: 1962
1. Graduate of Crawfordsville, but did not play basketball.
2. Played basketball, football, & baseball @ Wabash College.
3. Assistant Coach @ Purdue, before 29 years as Head Men’s Basketball Coach of
the Boilermakers. Won 371 games & 11 Big Ten titles.
4. Member of the National Basketball Hall of Fame.
5. Lambert Fieldhouse on Purdue’s campus is named in his honor.

High School: Richmond (1935) College: Purdue (1939) Induction: 1979
1. 3-year lettermen in basketball & baseball @ Richmond.
2. Played basketball & baseball @ Purdue, earing 3 letters in each sport.
3. Teacher, coach, & served as Athletic Director @ Lafayette Jeff for 39 years.
Was an assistant coach for the 1948 & 1964 State Championship teams.
4. Recreation Director for City of Lafayette for 39 years & 20 years as Parks
Superintendent.
