1. Member of the 1962 Indiana All-Star Team & 1987 Silver Anniversary Team.
2. Played basketball @ the University of Oklahoma, earning All-Big 8 honors.
3. Assistant coaching positions @ Oklahoma, Washburn University, Indiana State, &
Roanoke College.
4. Head Coach @ McCutcheon from 1975-80.
Gene Flowers
High School: Muncie Central (1955) College: Indiana (1959) Induction: 1998
1. 2-time All-State selection & member of the 1955 Indiana All-Star Team from
Muncie Central.
2. Played basketball @ Indiana University.
3. Member of 1980 Silver Anniversary Team.
4. Long-time teacher & coach in Indiana & Illinois. Including a head coaching stop
@ Clinton Central from 1961-63.
Earl Gardner
High School: New Market (1941) College: DePauw (1948) Induction: 2003
1. Led the New Market Purple Flyers to 3 consecutive Montgomery County
Tournament championships.
2. Played basketball at Wabash College & DePauw University. Was named
“Little All-American” in 1947 & 1948.
3. Member of the Minneapolis Lakers 1948-49 championship team.
4. Spent 25 years coaching basketball.
David Glascock
High School: Crawfordsville (1905) College: Wabash (1909) Induction: 1966
1. Graduated from Crawfordsville in 1905, having played 3 Varsity sports.
2. Played Basketball & Football @ Wabash College.
3. Embarked on a 41-year coaching career that included winning the 1911 State
Championship @ Crawfordsville. Also coached in Illinois, Utah, & South Dakota,
before spending 10 years coaching @ Indiana State.
