Joe Dienhart


     High School: Lafayette Jeff (1922)          College: Notre Dame (1935)         Induction: 1971
     5.  Stand-out basketball & football player @ Lafayette Jeff.
     6.  Helped lead the Bronchos to a 1920 State Runner-up finish.
     7.  Served as basketball & football coach @ Cathedral.  Won 5 State Catholic
         championships in basketball & won the 1933 National Catholic Football
         championship.
     8.  Coached baseball, basketball, & football @ St. Joseph’s College, before going to
         Purdue as an assistant coach for Piggy Lambert & Ray Eddy.
     9.  24 years as Assistant Athletic Director @ Purdue.

     High School: Muncie Central (1963)              College: Hanover (1967)             Induction: 2018
     1.  Head Coach of the Frankfort Hot Dogs from 1990-2001 compiling a record of 164-92.
             a.  Won 6 Sectional titles & 6 Sagamore Conference titles at Frankfort.
             b.  1994-95 team participated in the Marsh Hall of Fame Classic.
     2.  Won 452 games during a 35-year coaching career that included stops at
           Southwestern (Shelby), Owen Valley, Brebeuf Jesuit, Princeton, Frankfort, &
           Heritage Hills.
             a.  Overall:  Won 9 Sectional, 14 conference, 2 Marion County Tournament,
                             7 county/holiday tournament championships, & had 20-win
                                      seasons at four different schools.
             b.  Coached 4 Indiana All-Stars.
             c.  Marion County Coach-of-the-Year, Journal & Courier Area Coach-of-the-
                Year, IBCA District III Coach-of-the-Year, & the 2004 Junior All-Star
                Coach.
     3.  Member of 1963 Muncie Central State Championship team (29-1 record).
     4.  Played college basketball at Hanover Collier for Hall of Fame member John Collier.

     High School: Lafayette Jeff (1932)           College: Purdue (1936)          Induction: 1987
     1.  4-sport lettermen for Lafayette Jeff, leading the Bronchos to Sectional titles in 1930,
          1931, & 1932.
     2.  3-year Varsity lettermen @ Purdue, helping the Boilermakers win 3 consecutive Big
           Ten championships.
     3.  Named All-Big Ten in 1936.
