1. 4-sport athlete @ Lafayette Jeff, who also played football & basketball @ Notre
Dame.
2. Long-time college & professional coach. Coached both basketball & football
@ St. Vincent College, Xavier, & Notre Dame.
3. Served as Head Football Coach @ Iowa for one year before coaching the Buffalo
Bills & Baltimore Colts.
Charlie Cummings
High School: College: Ozark Wesleyan (1929) Induction: 1971
1. Head Coach @ Crawfordsville from 1941-42. Took over mid-season in 1941 due
to H.T. McCullough entering World War II.
a. 1941 team won Sectional & Regional titles.
b. 1942 team advanced to the State Finals.
2. Served as Head Coach & later Athletic Director @ Anderson. Won a state title
w/ his 1946 Anderson team.
3. Served as Basketball coach @ Boston College, before returning to Anderson to enter private business.
Karl “Knobby” Dickerson
High School: Crawfordsville (1925) College: Wabash Induction: 1983
1. 4-year starter for Crawfordsville from 1921-25.

2. 1 Team All-State in 1925.
3. Scored 1020 pts. in 4-year career. 1 of only 5 players to do so during the decade
of the 1920s.
4. Played basketball @ Wabash College.
5. 25-year career as a top high school & college basketball official. Worked several
IHSAA State Finals.
Dan Dimich
High School: SB Washington (1944) College: Indiana State (1950) Induction: 1950
1. Graduate of South Bend Washington & Indiana State, where he earned
All-American honors as a basketball player.
2. Played for John Wooden & John Longfellow @ Indiana State.
3. Taught at coached basketball @ French Lick, Brookston, Pendleton, &
South Bend Clay.
