Warren County Athletic Conference
The Warren County Athletic Conference was formed in 1930 by teams from Warren County. The conference
will operate through the 1972-73 school year.
Warren County Athletic Conference Timeline
1930: The Warren County Athletic Conference is formed.
Membership: Pine Village, West Lebanon, Williamsport
1934: Pine Village, West Lebanon, & Williamsport join the Midwest Conference. The WCC does not exist from
1934-1947.
1947: Pine Village, West Lebanon, & Williamsport leave the Midwest Conference & revive the WCC.
1959: Seeger Memorial H.S. opens w/ a new building & is a name change for West Lebanon H.S.
1973: Pine Village, Seeger Memorial, & Williamsport consolidate to form the current version of Seeger Memorial.
The mascot is changed from the Indians (Red/Gray) to the Patriots (Navy/Red/White). The current version of
Seeger Memorial will maintain membership in the WRC.
Western Indiana Small School Conference
The Western Indiana Small School Conference was formed in 1957 by schools from Benton & White counties
that had an enrollment under 100 students.
Western Indiana Small School Conference Timeline
1957: The Western Indiana Small School Conference is formed.
Membership: Chalmers, Earl Park, Freeland Park, Gilboa Twp., Pine Twp., Raub, Wadena
1961: Chalmers withdrawals from the conference to join the Prairie Conference. Earl Park, Freeland Park, & Wadena
are absorbed into Fowler. Gilboa Twp. is absorbed into Remington. Raub is absorbed into Kentland. Pine
Twp. is absorbed into Oxford. The Western Indiana Small School Conference disbands.
