Rangeline Conference

     The Rangeline Conference was formed in 1965 under the name of the “Mid-Capital Conference.” The conference re-
     branded itself in 1972 and began using the name “Rangeline Conference.”
     Rangeline Conference Timeline
     1965: The Mid-Capital Conference is formed
              Membership: Avon, Hamilton Heights, Hamilton SE, Sharpsville-Prairie,  Sheridan, Westfield
     1969: Hamilton SE withdrawals from the Mid-Capital.
     1970: Avon withdrawals, Sharpsville-Prairie consolidates into Tri-Central & joins the Rangeline.
     1972: The Mid-Capital Conference re-brands itself & becomes known as the Rangeline Conference  w/ the additions
               of Hamilton SE, Taylor, & Zionsville to the conference’s membership.
     1974: Taylor withdrawals from the Rangeline.
     1975: Clinton Central & Clinton Prairie join the Rangeline.
     1989: Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, & Tri-Central withdrawal from the conference.  New Palestine & Triton
               Central are added to the Rangeline membership.
     1995: Hamilton SE, New Palestine, & Triton Central withdrawal, while Scecina Memorial joins the Rangeline .
     1997: Yorktown joins the Rangeline.
     1998: Tipton joins the Rangeline.
     1999: Yorktown withdrawals from the Rangeline.
     2000: The Rangeline Conference disbands after the 1999-2000 school year.



     Sagamore Athletic Conference


              The Sagamore Conference was formed in 1966, w/ athletic competition starting during the   1967-68 school
     year. The “charter” membership includes: Brownsburg, Crawfordsville, Carmel,  Frankfort, Lebanon, and Noblesville.
     Sagamore Conference Timeline
     1966: Sagamore Conference is formed.
     1974: Carmel withdraws from the Sagamore Conference after the 1973-74 school year.
               North Montgomery joins the Sagamore &  begins participation during the
               1974-75 school year.
     1980: Noblesville withdraws from the Sagamore Conference.
     1983: Western Boone joins the Sagamore Conference.
     1985: Brownsburg drops out of the Sagamore Conference.  Southmont joins the Sagamore
                & begins   athletic participation during the 1985-86 school year.
     1999: Danville and Tri-West are admitted to the Sagamore Conference.
                     Current Membership: Crawfordsville, Danville, Frankfort, Lebanon, North Montgomery, Southmont,
                                                                   Tri-West, Western Boone
