By the end of the 7-week induction programme, your new colleague should be
able to perform their role safely and successfully, and clearly understand what is
expected of them in terms of their performance.
Every individual learns differently and there may still be elements of the induction to
be covered and the expectation should not be that they are an expert after 7 weeks!
Continue to support your new colleague throughout their probationary period and
have regular reviews as detailed below.
