Looking for profit

I know we are all looking for extra profit and I do
understand why. The cost of running the dispensary
goes up and up whilst reimbursement margin on
generics seems to forever be going down and so
inevitably, we search for the golden egg as a means
to balancing the books.

I am sorry to tell you, there is no golden egg or even a goose
to lay it. We are going to have to find our own solutions to
remaining solvent and I suggest you concentrate on some of
the very doable interventions to find that extra margin.
Where would I start? Well, I suggest you look at what you are
already doing and make sure you are doing it the best you
can rather than looking for miracle solutions. It’s not rocket
science, its good business management we need here.

I think rather than bamboozle you
will loads of suggestions, let me give
you a couple of the interventions you
can look at today, that could have
the greatest impact on your margin.
