Operational Excellence Guide

    DISPENSARY BENCHES



    Clean and organised benches help minimise the risk of dispensing
    incidents occurring. By ensuring high standards, you will also improve
    the working environment for all colleagues with everyone aware of
    where things such as staplers and scissors are kept.

    Please ensure that:
    •  All paperwork is stored in one designated admin area, with clear
       benches maintained
    •  No unnecessary signs or posters are displayed and that the fly
       shelf is kept clear

    •  Phones, staplers and scissors are returned to designated areas
       after use

    •  Benches are wiped down; bins are emptied and the floor is swept
       and mopped at the end of each day

    •  Sinks should be always clear with mugs and measures cleaned
       after use
