Current and former employees may contact the Office Manager to
request access to their personnel file. Requests will generally be
permitted within three days, during regular business hours, unless
otherwise required under state law. Personnel files are to be reviewed
in the Company’s office and must be supervised. No material is to be
added, removed, or altered in the file; however, a copy of any
document (with exclusions by law) will be provided. You may add
your comments to any disputed item in the file. Personnel files may not
be taken outside the department.
Disclosure of personnel information to outside sources will be limited.
However, the Company will cooperate with requests from authorized
law enforcement or local, state, or federal agencies conducting official
investigations and as otherwise legally required. By policy, the
Company will provide only the former or present employee’s dates of
employment and position(s) held with the company and eligibility for
rehire, if asked, unless the former employee signs a written release to
disclose specific information. Only the Office Manager and/or General
Manager are authorized to release this information.
