575  Graham Leonard DEBNEY  (1935-  ) (Member of the Brierley Hill club until it disbanded at June
                  2011. Inducted 1.7.2011; left on 30.6.2012.)  Industrial finishing plant.
                  Retired  but  previously  Sales  Director  of  Burntwood  Engineering  Co
                  Limited and Fintech Finishing Plant Limited in Prospect Road, Burntwood,
                  both of which manufactured spray booths and paint shop plants.  The
                  companies were voluntarily wound up in 1992 and ’93 respectively.
                       He was born and raised in Smethwick.  He joined the RAF in 1956 and
                  as a Pilot Officer flew Canberra jets for photo-reconnaissance for about 5
                  years before joining Burntwood Engineering.  His home was at Great Barr
                  until 1967 before moving to Wordsley.  In retirement he has been active
                  in public service:  Director 1999-2005 of Wordsley Housing Society, which provides residential
                  care for individuals with mental health and substance abuse problems; Trustee of Wordsley and
                  District Community Association, which manages the Wordsley Community Centre and its many
                  activities; Trustee/Director of Stourbridge Navigation Trust from its incorporation in 2002 until
                  retiring in 2014, and latterly as Chairman.  The Trust maintains the Stourbridge Extension Canal,
                  and  owns  the  historic  Bonded  Warehouse  in  Stourbridge  and  canal-boat  operator  Fellows,
                  Morton & Clayton Ltd.  He was also Dudley Councillor for Wordsley ward for two terms 1999-
                  2006 and for a time a Director of Dudley & West Midlands Zoological Society.

            576  Peter MARSH, JP  (1951 -  ) (Inducted 1.7.2011; still a member at 2022.
                  Previously  a  member  of  Brierley  Hill  Rotary  Club  from  1995  and  its
                  President 2004-05; made Paul Harris Fellow 2011.)  Project Management.
                  Head of Support Services for Interserve (Facilities Management) Ltd, in
                  charge of all the non-medical services at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley for
                  10  years  until  retiring  in  2014.    He  joined  Interserve  in  2001  but  had
                  worked with the National Health Service for more than 40 years.  While
                  with  Interserve  he  was  seconded  to  Sir  Robert  McAlpine  2001-05  to
                  manage the Reviewable Design Process for the expansion of Russells Hall
                  Hospital.
                       Peter is Dudley born and bred.  He attended Sebright School, Wolverley for 3 years and then
                  Ellowes Hall School, Dudley before being articled to builders A J Crump in the management of
                  the firm from 1967 until it went into receivership in 1970.  He then joined the Health Service as
                  a Works Assistant at New Cross Hospital.  In 1974 he moved to Dudley Guest Hospital but was
                  concerned  with  managing  and  maintaining  community  buildings:  health  centres,  clinics  and
                  ambulance stations.  4 years later he was appointed Senior Building Officer for Dudley NHS
                  looking after Burton Road and the Guest hospitals, The Limes and Prestwood sanatoriums and
                  the newly constructed Russells Hall Hospital.
                       Peter is well involved in local community activities:  he served as a magistrate on the Dudley
                  (now Black Country) Bench 1997-2021; is a director/trustee of White House Cancer Support and
                  of Mary Stevens Hospice (and now Vice Chair); a trustee of Baylies' Educational Foundation,
                  Daniel Parsons Educational Charity and The Dudley Church of England Schools Foundation; and
                  was Chair of the Governors of Castle High School and Visual Arts College for 6 years until it
                  converted to St James Academy in 2017.  His home in the Oakham district of Dudley.
