                1.  Cleaning equipment are taken from the assigned storage.  Cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaner and floor polisher are
                                                               clean and in good working condition before bringing up to the
                                                               assigned area.

                2.  Request for cleaning materials and chemicals are listed
                    in the Material Custodian Request Slip and given to the   Cleaning materials and chemicals requested and received are
                                                               documented.
                    Material Custodian for releasing.

                3.  Receive the cleaning materials and chemicals.
                                                               Received cleaning materials and chemicals are based on the
                                                               MCRS.


               Task 8: Enter the guest room appropriately
                          OPERATING PROCEDIURES                                STANDARD(s)

                1.  Press the doorbell button of the room and announce:   Room Attendants are not allowed to enter rooms with Do Not

                    “Housekeeping, Room Check”                 Never use the keycard or any item that will cause an irritating

                2.   Repeat 3 times with 3 seconds interval.

                3.   If  no  one  answers  after  the  3   doorbell,  announce

                    “Housekeeping,  entering  the  room”  then  gently  tap
                    keycard to the lockset to open the main door.

                4.  Guest answers your doorbell                “Magandang   umaga/   hapon/   gabi   po,   Mr./
                        -   Smile  and  greet  guest  with  the  standard   Ms._____________.
                           phraseology.
                        -   Introduce yourself.
                        -   Request  permission  regarding  purpose  (e.g.
                           room account, checking of mini bar, make up
                           room, etc.)
                ➢  Enter the room and do the task once the guest agrees/
                    permits you.
