5. Gently open the door, carefully checking if there’s a guest
inside the bathroom or in the bed sleeping.
Guest is asleep or inside the bathroom
- Gently close the door and leave quietly.
Guest is awake but dressing
- Excuse yourself, gently close the door and
leave the room.
Guest is out/ room is unoccupied
- Enter the room.
- Hang the “On Going Room Cleaning” signage
and leave the door open while doing the task.
Task 9: Clean Check-out Rooms
OPERATING PROCEDURES STANDARD(s)
1. Enter guestroom door. See Guestroom Task: Entering Maximum of 45 minutes cleaning time.

2. Inform MC of your location, i.e. room number. MC is always advised on the GA (Guestroom) whereabouts.

control panel (BCP) table), dinette table, TV rack, dresser
4. Double check and replenish mini bar. table, luggage rack and inside the cabinet/closet to the
bathroom ( under the sink).
- Verify actual items vs. record in the mini bar
monitoring. Report any discrepancy to the Absence of crawling and flying insects.
LMC.
- Fill out mini-bar report.
- Replenish mini bar items based on standard
quantity and items of the Hotel.
5. Replenish main room guest supplies and amenities.
6. Clean the bathroom. Replenish T&B guest supplies and
amenities.
7. Spray the room with insecticide and air freshener side by
side.
- Make a final check of the room.
Task 10: Clean the Toilet and Bath

1. Turn on lights and fan, replace busted bulb if any and T&B is clean from ceiling to floor, sanitized, fresh smelling, dry
report noisy exhaust fan to maintenance department. and without water spots and dust.
Exhaust fan vent should be free from dust and dirt.
