Jack and Jill Day
th
Our 2020 Jack and Jill Day was on Saturday, September 26 . Our families participated in a 4-hour scavenger
hunt in the morning and virtual celebration in the afternoon. The goal was to encourage our families to spend
quality time together while competing against other Jack and Jill families and celebrating the organization.
"
The timed scavenger hunt activities included 14 missions. Each mission was assigned a point value from 200-
800 and the family that received the most points won. A sample of the 14 missions is listed below:
• Family Photo: Take a family photo in front of the Jack and Jill Day sign in our Presidents front yard
• Safety First: Take a family photo with personal Protective Equipment
• When Times are rough, we lend a hand: Take a photo providing a donation to a local charity
• It’s a “Mask”erade: Take a photo in a creative mask your family makes
• Fallin’ For You: Take a photo of a BLM made with Dominoes.
Jack and Jill Day culminated with a 20-minute zoom meeting where we watched a Carole Robertson tribute,
announced the winners of the family scavenger hunt and provided a video collage of the week’s activities. The
North Texas Chapter was able to combine family fun, Jack and Jill pride, and community service all in honor
of Carole Robertson.
