Relationship with God: 1 John 3:1-10

Learning Goals: The learner will observe the need to grow into maturity in his/her relationship

with Christ.

Preparation:

1. Read through the passage daily for the week prior. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you insight

into it.

2. Pray for the learners. Ask the Lord to make them receptive to the Word.

3. Read Sermon 19: The Great Privilege of Those That Are Born of God by John Wesley.

4. Obtain a recording of Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle” or print/bring the lyrics.
