experience in the mainframe market. 80% of IBM revenue comes from Global Services and
Software, so expect IBM to discount hardware heavily to retain their Global Services revenue.

• Supporting Point 2: IBM’s Max5 Scalable Memory Architecture adds additional memory to a server
blade by bolting a module onto the full size server module, taking up the space that would normally
be occupied by another server blade.
