SOUTHERN NEVADA COMMUNITIES
Choosing where to live in the Valley is a major decision, and the region offers a wide range of
options to match different lifestyles. From family oriented neighborhoods and master planned
communities to high rise condos near the resort corridor, custom homes, and apartments,
Southern Nevada provides a broad mix of housing styles and community settings.
Southern Nevada’s three largest cities are Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. All are
located within Clark County and sit close to each other, but each city operates independently
with its own government, services, and development plans.
Las Vegas
The City of Las Vegas includes Downtown, the historic East Side, the master planned
community of Summerlin, and many established and newer residential areas. As of 2026 esti-
mates, Las Vegas has a population of about 690,000 residents, keeping it the largest city in Ne-
vada. The city continues to focus on economic development, neighborhood improvement, and
access to public amenities and services.
North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas remains one of the fastest growing cities in the state, with a 2026
estimated population of about 295,000 residents. The city continues expanding its industrial,
logistics, and commercial sectors while adding new residential communities and infrastructure.
Growth in jobs and housing has strengthened its appeal for both businesses and families.
Henderson
Henderson is the second largest city in Nevada, with a 2026 estimated population of about
350,000 residents. It is widely recognized for its master planned communities, parks, and rec-
reation network. The city maintains a strong reputation for quality of life, public services, and
community focused planning.
