About the Author
Dr. Maribeth Edmunds is a student-centered administrator who is committed to high levels of student
achievement and quality professional development for teachers and aspiring school leaders. Dr. Edmunds
began her career as a secondary school English teacher prior to taking on roles as a central office director.
Currently, she is principal of Monmouth Junction Elementary School in South Brunswick. Dr. Edmunds
holds degrees from Montclair State University, The College of New Jersey, and Seton Hall University where
she earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy. Dr. Edmunds is also an
advocate for children and adults with autism, serving as a trustee on the Board of Eden Autism Services
and as a member of the NJ Autism Think Tank.
