Conclusions

According to the research conducted, sport is an important aspect of fostering unity among the
people. Sport is great for health as it stimulates the brain and also strengthens our limbs as well as
unifies the various ethnic group in Malaysia. Sports consists of physical activities performed for a
variety if purposes for competitions, fun, development, skills, excellence and so on. Sports never
matter their religious background, race or beliefs. At the individual level, sports contribute to the
development of positive personality, self-awareness and competitiveness as well as improving health
and physical fitness through the use of leisure. At the community level, sports contribute to the
enhancement of relationship between the various races, the promotion of volunteerism, participation,
cooperation and support. In addition, it enhances the country’s image excellence and international
cooperation. It is proved that this world can be unite if we destroy those racism, prejudice and
discrimination. Unity is very important for a country to live together with a harmony surrounding
especially country with different races and religions. In addition, it enhances the country’s image
excellence and international cooperation.

Cooperation between each other is very important to ensure the success of achieving the target.
Next, youth community play a very crucial role in ensuring the success of the unity of a nation. Youths
have the potential to develop nation spirit. As a future generation leader, youth must play their role to
keep the country harmony. Other than that, it is important to give awareness to the society about the
important of unity in a country to avoid conflict between each other.

Suggestions

As you know, unity is something hard to achieve for any country in this world but it can bring a
positive effect to the country especially to the community with difference background. In order to
make this thing happen, everyone have to cooperate and play their role to keep the country safe,
harmony and peace. All parties must cooperate to spread awareness about unity to the community.
It is start from a leader. One of the most important responsibilities of a leader is to promote the unity,
no matter what kind of leader they are. Prime Minister is also a leader to a country. To be a unifier, the
leader brings people together around a vision, or mission or a project. Team unity drives to positive
results. A leader must have these four behaviors to promote their team unity. Create a vision think,
respect difference of opinion, build trust within the team and use positive behavior to influence others.
Next, the citizens of this country, Malaysian. Malaysians have to realize their responsibility to uphold
unity and the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity for the country’s stability. Stability gives room to
administer and implement national development policies and programmed for well-being of the
people, thus enhancing economic activity and generating wealth to be shared. Malaysian should learn
from the destruction of some countries as a result of disunity that led to conflicts and
wars, and there are times when the destruction cannot be undone in the span of single generation.
Last but not least, youths. Youths play a major role in the progress of achieving unity. As a leader for
the future generations, they have to be exposed about the important of unity. So, governments should
do more campaign about the awareness of the unity regardless races and religion and invite all the
citizens especially youths to join the campaign so that they can understand the importance of unity.
Make more sport competitions so that they can enjoy sports because sports can bring people together.
