Penn Medicine’s Center for Healthcare Technology will serve the research institution’s corporate functions
including the departments of Information Technology and Human Resources. It will be home to the
Investigational Drug Services Pharmacy for the Penn Health System and a major expansion of the Bio
Bank Freezer Farm to enhance collaboration among researchers in large clinical studies. The non-clinical,
urban building will feature a childcare center for Penn Medicine employees with outdoor play area, cafe,
landscaped plaza and 50 bike racks for scientists and employees.
