Here’s a distinction that’ll save you years:
“Visibility is people seeing you.
Resonance is people feeling you.”
Relevance happens only when someone sees your content and thinks:
“This is exactly what I needed to hear.”
“How the hell did they know this is what I’m going through?”
“This person just said what I’ve been trying to articulate for months.”
Relevance cuts through because it’s soul-level signal in a sea of noise.
And when you’re relevant…you don’t need to chase engagement.
You create gravity.
You become a reference point in someone’s reality.
A voice they trust when the noise gets too loud.
A truth they keep returning to.
From Broad Reach to Brand Gravity
If you’re going to be seen and heard in this next chapter,
you need to stop trying to go wide—and start going deep.
That means:
- You speak to less people, but with more intensity
- You create content for the 5% who are actually listening—not the 95% who are
scrolling
- You stop trying to be viral, and start trying to be vital
Brand gravity is when people feel pulled toward your work
because it matches the frequency of their need, pain, vision, and future self.
When you do this right, your audience becomes:
- More attentive
- More invested
- More willing to buy
- More likely to share and amplify your work—organically
