1. Taking Care of Yourself

In chaotic seasons, it’s easy to put yourself last.
But you can’t pour into your business, your team, or your clients if your nervous system
is shot and your body’s running on caffeine and hope.

               You need a ritual.

Not for productivity, but for presence.

               Here’s what I recommend daily:

                   - 15 minutes of meditation or guided breathwork
                   - 30 minutes of movement or sweat
                   - 15 minutes of reading something that inspires your mind
                   - 5-minute hot/cold contrast shower to reset your system
                   - 30 minutes doing something that brings you joy (music, art, nature, connection)
                   - Journaling or free writing to process emotion + recalibrate focus
                   - A simple “here’s what I want to create today” list—aligned, not reactive

You don’t have to do it all.
               But do something.

When you create a consistent space to regulate, to return to yourself, and to ground
your energy, you stop reacting and start responding like the leader you actually are.

               2. Taking Care of Your Family and Friends

Leadership doesn’t stop at the edge of your business.
And during uncertain times, your family and your close circle need something that’s in
short supply right now—calm, clear, grounded direction.

This doesn’t mean pretending you have all the answers.
It means showing up with honesty, compassion, and clarity about what you can control.

               Here’s what I suggest:

               DO:

                   - Share your financials with your significant other, no matter how bad it is
                   - Develop a plan with your family, based on the best-case scenario and likely
scenario to help them create a level of certainty of what can happen next.
