3-  Vaper compression (VC) :

               In VC seawater enters a heat exchanger to increase temperature, then spayed like
               MED on a hot steam pipe. The steam collected in demister, then the compressor
               pressurized the steam, and then the steam condensed by sprayed cold seawater and
               produced freshwater.

               VC desalination has the highest efficiency in the thermal desalination process. The
               reason for that is the recirculation of the brine water to get more freshwater from the
               same amount of seawater. On the other hand, VC has the highest power consumption
               in thermal desalination and the lowest capacity.

               2.3    Seawater Desalination Plants

               Desalination plants not just RO or MSF, plant state from suction the seawater and
               pretreatment it and then convert it to freshwater as previous techniques and then
               move it to posttreatment, finally pumped it to use in several ways.
