LOCKOUT TAGOUT

SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES

● Until the electrical energy level is verified to be zero,

the system is to be considered fully energised.

● Lockout/tagout device may NOT be removed on

behalf of another person.

● Lockout/tagout devices shall not be used for any

purpose other than controlling hazardous energies.

Applying locks and tags to personal lockers, gates, or

any other use is not allowed.

Always remember that power sources are not always

electrical; hydraulic systems can still hold high pressure

in cylinders. Suspended loads could have gravity

activated features and spring-loaded devices can

release significant energy. All of these if not neutralised

may cause serious injury, and even death.
