was huge like a hippopotamus that we saw in our
        African safari.

Before dinner, the three of us joined the Quiz
contest. It’s about identifying iconic buildings,
statues, and sculptures worldwide. We won again!
Yeah! Four out of Five” quizzes. We forfeited one
because we didn’t show up. It’s about identifying
flags which we decided we are not good at.

Tonight was the usual dinner but they presented
us with very wide choice of excellent and wide
selection of French cheeses. Later, we listened to
the Ukrainian classical pianist, and the other Le
Boreal musicians performing jazz music. We called
it a night earlier than we thought we would do. The
ship was rocking back and forth as we went back
to the open water, but it’s a good feeling that we
don’t have to wake up early the next day. No more
briefing from the Expedition Leader that we have
to listen to mentally prepare for our landing. This
expedition is very exhilarating, exciting, educational
and a fun experience, but very taxing. I know it’s
my once in a lifetime experience and I’ll never
get a chance to come back. It’s way too far, too
south! Our lowest posted location ( coordinate) in
Latitude is almost 70 degrees below the equator
and 62 degrees west of Zero Longitude. We still
have way to go to the South Pole from here. This
is just a proof of how huge a continent Antarctica
is. The continent of Antarctica is bigger than North
        America and Mexico combined.
