1. Thread the tag end of your tippet up through the hook eye, run it
through about a foot, and then circle it back through, so you form a
circle around the hook, as shown here.
2. Rotate the loop around the hook shank six times, working back
toward the bend of the hook. Use your fingers to pinch the wraps on
the hook shank. Really, you’re twisting the loop around the hook
shank, six times. Slip the wraps up to the hook eye, making sure
they stay in orderly wraps.
