Non-slip Shoelace Knot

Here’s another fun knot to learn. You can use it to tie shoelaces so the
laces won’t slip on you, or you can secure items with eyelets (like buoy
floats maybe?) with this knot. It’s good for general joinery.

1. Cross one line over the other—think like you are tying your shoes.
2. Now double the tag end to make a loop and bring the other tag end
around in front of the loop.
