6 Continue moving the right-hand cord over two, 8a – passing it over one, under two, and
then over three cords. note that it
exactly opposes the right-hand cord exit.

7 Bring the left cord around anti-clockwise… 8b Holding the top loop, gently pull the two
cords down, pulling the two loops into
place within the knot.
The finished Button Knot, here forming a loop,
although it may also be formed into a true
button by pulling the cord structure downward
to make the top loop a pass over the top of the
knot instead of a loop.
