2 slip a third loop into the second loop and 5 Pull the first loop and the start cord down
tighten the second loop to hold the third loop
in place.
3 Pull the first loop leg and the starting cord
together up into the third loop.
7 starting with the yellow cord, make a letter ‘W’
4 Pass the end of the cord through from behind
to be caught by that loop from stage 3.
through, making a fourth loop as shown. note
the end of the cord is at upper right and the
start of the cord is at upper left.
for stages 1 to 5 for the other cord (other end
6 tighten the knot’s loops and repeat the action
of the cord if you are using one cord) to pro-
duce your two ginger Knots as shown. see also
comment in stage 9 below.
and locate the ginger Knot at the upper right
of the ‘W’. then pass a bight of the remainder
of the yellow cord under, over, under, over as
shown. Be sure to include a clockwise under-
hand loop after the ginger Knot.
