HORIZON, 2020-21

MyCamu and Microsoft Teams were conducted.

The Teachers took a lot of effort and made easily

understandable audio and video lessons and

shared them in the class via Whatsapp groups.

These challenging times brought about many

blessings in disguise. I could spend more time on

my PlayStation and watch a lot of TV. I also started

learning new skills which were basic for survival

such as cooking, washing and DIYs. Of course, all of

this wouldn’t qualify as pure learning in the school

environment. Nonetheless, I was thrilled to learn all

of this. This is when I realized that learning never

stops. By learning new things I can develop my

curiosity and desire to know and understand

the world around me.

Going from standing in straight lines and fixed

periods to learning whatever I wanted was a

transformation that amused me initially, but I soon

started enjoying the freedom that the

circumstances had created for me. A family is as

strong as the amount of time it spends together.

Eating, laughing, learning and playing build bonds

that are closely knit.
