HORIZON, 2020-21

THE LAST TWO MONTHS HAVE

CHANGED ME

The last two months of covid-19 have affected

everyone deeply across the globe. fear of the

pandemic has led to people adopting a cautious

lifestyle. It is rightly said that the worst times bring

the best out of you, the pandemic has changed me

too. Before the global pandemic I lived a carefree life

but now I always try to do my best.

I have started to give more importance to personal

hygiene by simple steps like washing my hands

frequently with soap, wearing a mask and gloves if I

step out, maintaining social distance and eating

healthy to increase my immunity. I have exerted the

best of my abilities and have learnt to cook and

bake. I am more independent and confident now

and can look after myself and help my family. I have

started to help my mother with household chores.

My parent’s birthdays and anniversary were during

the lockdown so I made them cards and discovered

more about my creativity.
