HORIZON, 2020-21

On regular schooling days, devoting quality time to

strengthen family ties becomes challenging as

academics take priority. I was able to spend good

quality time with my uncles, grandmother and my

mother. I understood that family is central to a

peaceful and happy life.

It is very important to spend productive time doing

what one is passionate about. During school days,

many of us try to squeeze in time to do things that

we like. I’ve always been fascinated about being a

YouTuber and the extra time in the lockdown gave

me the chance to do just that. I researched quite a

few topics and created short videos which were easily

understandable. Here I was, fulfilling my passion and

sharing whatever little I knew to those who were

interested in acquiring knowledge. This gave me a

golden opportunity to learn from the internet,

improve my internet mining skills, made me do some

original research and voila in the process I learnt all

this without going to school. It would be wrong if I say

that I didn't miss my friends from school and the

interactions with my teachers and seniors. That is

where the internet again came into play. I would

connect with them on social media and play online

games with my friends.
