Hoesik is an activity of eating and drinking
(soju or alcohol) together with bosses,
coworkers, or clients usually after work. It
is also often used as an opportunity to
showcase oneself and build relationships
with company executives.
Hoesik
Throughout more than 5,000 years of Korean
society, the hanbok has maintained its basic
composition even though it has changed into
various shapes and structures according to
contemporary living culture, the state of the
Hanbok
times, and artistic factors.
Chuseok is one of the most important
anniversaries in South Korea. Chuseok is
celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of
the lunar calendar. That's why Chuseok is also
known as Hangawi (the big day in the middle of
fall).
Chunseok
The festival is located at Daecheon Beach,
Boryeong City, which is why it is named Boryeong
Mud Festival. The Boryeong Mud Festival is an
annual event that showcases mud wrestling, mud
sliding, and more. Everything is done with dirty
mud media. The festival was first held in 1998.
Boryeong Mud
A celebration of the first full moon after the lunar
new year. Like the Lantern Festival, it falls on the
15th day of the first month of the Chinese
calendar. In Korean, jeongwol means "first
Daeboreum month", dae means "big", while boreum means
"full moon".
