MARHABAN BUAI ANAK
"Marhaban Buai Anak" is one of the
ceremonies or processions accompanying
the Aqiqah and newborn baby's hair
shaving rituals. It's a cultural tradition
deeply rooted in religious values. The
Islamic teachings greatly influence the
customs and distinct culture of the
Bengkulu Malay people. Their customs align
with religious teachings; religious teachings
align with the teachings of the Quran.
DENDANG BENGKULU
“Dendang" is one of the folk arts
with its background rooted in Islam.
The song lyrics are structured in
"pantun," containing advice that in
life, one should always remember
Allah.
