The Jampana Parade is intended as an expression of gratitude for

the food blessings bestowed by God. This festival is followed by

dozens of people carrying large palanquins containing various foods

that will be contested by participants who attend this event.

BANDUNG LAUTAN API FESTIVAL

This festival is a commemoration of Bandung Lautan Api, a major fire

incident that occurred in 1946 in order to defend the Bandung area

from invaders. The series of events included a pilgrimage to the

graves of heroes, the Bandung Lautan Api commemoration

ceremony, and a torchlight parade.
