The Rock Brook Consulting Group provided professional mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering de-

sign services for the design of approximately 26,000 SF of new medical office space for the CHOP Specialty Care
Center (SCC) in Abington, PA. Services included:

• Full MEP/FP systems built for future Ambulatory Care Use, including state-of- the-art HVAC controls
• Emergency generator and essential electrical system
• Medical gas systems
• Lightning protection
This project accommodated a relocation of the specialty care facility to a new space to treat an increased number

of patients and reduce wait times in addition to facilitating future growth and a future imaging suite.
