Tower Hill School Music Building

Owner/User: Tower Hill School

Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Design Statement: Bernardon provided architectural
design services for a 6,400 SF addition to the Tower Hill
School that would house the school’s music department.
The new building was designed as a pre-engineered Star
building systems structure, 80 feet wide by 80 feet long,
with an 18-foot clear height inside. The exterior walls are
metal stud infill construction with brick façade.

Internal rooms will include two music rooms - one at 2,000
SF, another at 1,500 SF, an ensemble classroom, computer
keyboard lab, three practice rooms, an instrument storage
area, an office, two handicapped accessible toilet rooms,
and a mechanical room.
